Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons tamarind paste
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 12 tablespoons water (optional, to thin the sauce)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix tamarind paste and lime juice until smooth.
  2. Whisk in mayonnaise, chili garlic sauce, and soy sauce until creamy.
  3. Add brown sugar and stir until fully dissolved.
  4. Thin with water if desired, one tablespoon at a time.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness, acidity, or heat to your liking.
  6. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.

  • This sauce thickens in the fridge. Stir before serving.
