Ingredients

  • 23 tablespoons pink Himalayan salt (coarse or fine)
  • 812 oz filtered water (enough to fill a glass jar)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon raw apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the Himalayan pink salt into a sanitized glass container.
  2. Pour in filtered water to cover the salt completely.
  3. Use a plastic or wooden utensil to stir softly, do not use metal.
  4. Seal the container and allow it to rest at room temperature for 12 to 24 hours.
  5. Check the next day: If some salt remains undissolved, your solution is ready.
  6. Each morning, scoop 1 teaspoon of the saltwater into a fresh glass of water.
  7. You can enhance the flavor by adding a splash of lemon, a bit of raw honey, or a dash of apple cider vinegar before drinking.
  8. Stir well and sip slowly on an empty stomach, ideally before breakfast.

Notes

  • If all the salt dissolves, add more to maintain saturation.
  • Store the jar at room temperature and refill with salt and water as needed.
  • For optimal hydration, it’s most effective when enjoyed on an empty stomach in the early morning.
  • For sensitive stomachs, start with ½ teaspoon of the sole solution diluted in more water.
  • Not recommended for individuals on low-sodium diets, consult your healthcare provider first.
